How to inspire school children and shoppers? A campaign that keeps on growing.
For four years now, we’ve been encouraging school kids to roll up their sleeves and learn the ‘field to fork’ story first-hand, as part of our Let’s Grow campaign for Morrisons.
Since planting the first seeds back then, budding gardeners in schools nationwide have been learning to grow their very own fruit and veg, collecting vouchers to earn shedloads of gardening equipment.
More than 22,000 schools have registered and over 250 million vouchers have been given out in Morrisons stores, resulting in over £10m worth of gardening equipment being delivered to schools. In total, around 5 million children have had access to it – that’s half the UK child population!
An additional 1.733 million shopping visits were generated during the voucher collection period of the first year, and Morrisons experienced growing sales of over £20m. We’re currently working towards the campaign’s fifth year…
