Peperami was in danger of losing out to its competitors during the key 'snacking' consumption occasion of the 2010 World Cup. So, we got the crowds going wild with the Peperami 'Fanimal' - a ranting rubber mascot to help unleash fans' footie frustration!
Our fan-tastic idea was brought to life through an integrated campaign across a variety of media, including press, radio, online, ambient, in-store and on-pack.
Results Matter
The campaign period delivered the biggest monthly volume sales in Peperami's entire history, with 10,000 Fanimals ending up in football fans' hands. We massively outperformed our KPI of 30% sales uplift - achieving 117%. To top it off, we also won NMA Ad of the Day and Best Online Award at the ANNA's 2011.
